Tecumseh Redevelopment Master Plan New Holstein, WI

Stadtmueller & Associates conducted an extensive planning process with the City of New Holstein to prepare a master plan for redeveloping the former 40-acre Tecumseh manufacturing site.  This included three public participation workshops, along with multiple planning meetings with the Community Redevelopment Authority.  Our placemaking method led to the creation of a new vision for the property as a mixed-use development focused on business clusters in the agriculture and craft beer industries.

Sherwood Downtown Plan

Partnered with Short Elliott Hendrickson (SEH)
In 2014, Stadtmueller & Associates was part of the planning team that developed a master plan for the Village of Sherwood.  This was a seven month process that resulted in a vision for downtown redevelopment and steps for implementing that vision.  Our role was to lead the extensive public participation effort that provided the basis for a place statement, guiding principles, marketing & branding strategy and downtown redevelopment concepts.

Chilton Uptown Master Plan

Main Street, Chilton WI
Our 2006 Redevelopment Plan augmented previous planning work by the City of Chilton and focused on specific development sites between the Manitowoc River and Uptown business district. The plan provided a framework for the development of a 42 unit senior housing project, which will be completed in 2009. Future phases of implementation will include a riverfront park and preservation of the Historic 19th Century commercial buildings on Main Street.

Historic Doty Building Redevelopment

300 Commercial Street, Neenah WI
This 2008 city center redevelopment project resulted in the construction of a 16,000 square-foot dialysis treatment center and nephrology clinic. Although the original façade could not be preserved due to structural deterioration, we incorporated elements of the historic façade to maintain its unique sense of place. The $3.4 million project was supported by a City of Neenah TIF investment to create new off-street public parking. Our role also included the management of extensive site assembly and environmental remediation.
